Hugh latest album 'NEW SONGS FOR KING KONG' is now available as a double-CD digipack and deluxe double-vinyl.
Recorded on the 2009 Hooverdam / Rattus UK Tour, NSFKK features a live recording of Hugh's acclaimed solo release 'HOOVERDAM' on Disc I as well as the Strangler's classic album 'RATTUS NORVEGICUS IV' on Disc II.

After his successful sold out UK tour at O2 Academy venues, Hugh has started his US West Coast tour featuring Caroline Campbell (bass) and Chris Bell (drums) in support of his latest masterpiece: ‘Hooverdam’, produced by Grammy Award-winning producer, Liam Watson ('Elephant', The White Stripes).
This fantastic tour is a mix up of Hooverdam with the most famous Stranglers hits like No More Heroes, Peaches, (Get A) Grip (On Yourself), Walk On By, Duchess, Nice N’ Sleazy, Always The Sun, Golden Brown and more...

Hugh will be appearing on The Big Questions on BBC 1 television on Sunday May 3RD. The show is a Topical debate programme hosted by Nicky Campbell and airs at 10am.

Hugh is judging the Jack Daniels Turkish Rock Competition in Istanbul this Saturday April 11th There were hundreds of entries and these were initially taken down to 48 by the Turkish judges.
These 48 finalists were then judged by the Turkish judges, Hugh, and two other international judges from the US and Canada. The 10 bands amassing the most votes from all six judges will perform one song each live at the final.
Over 1.500 Turkish rock fans will be present at the event which will be screened by Turkish television. Hugh will tell you more about the event, the performances and post links to the top 3 bands on his return next week.
