BLUEPRINT

BLUEPRINT is an engrossing music film that captures the live studio performance of Hoover Dam, the new album from ex-Strangler and new wave legend Hugh Cornwell. Borrowing from Godard's Sympathy For The Devil and Jewison's The Thomas Crowne Affair, Blueprint offers a unique look inside Toerag Studios, where Hugh Cornwell recorded his album Hoover Dam in December 2007. The band plays through the album while producer Liam Watson, known for his work producing Elephant by the White Stripes, mixes directly onto stereo two-track. The film is interspersed with an in-depth interview with BBC broadcaster Robert Elms.
